The Skinny Island is actually Florida’s longest Barrier Island, some fifty miles, from Matanzas Inlet to the north, to Ponce DeLeon Inlet to the south, and averages about a quarter-mile wide. We live about mid-way, in a little sixty-three year-old house facing the ocean. This blog is about stuff that happens here, and is in no way reflective of the wider world.
